i lost my parents trust over somthing that everyone does i mean everyone - and its not somthing stupid like smoking pot - i mean having a myspace ( i only had people on there that i really knew and if i didn't know them i didn't tell them anything whatsoever) ...... so my parents put parental locks everywhere -and now i cant go anywhere, i cant do anyhthing .... so i need to know how to get thier trust back so i can live my life..

My first question is did they have a rule against having a myspace account in the first place? If not, then they may be overreacting due to all the media coverage myspace has gotten lately. Parents want to protect their children. this is normal and a good thing for the most part.
If they did, then you did break a rule and damage their trust in you. However, you seem to be a good person, and I would suspect you will be able to regain their trust. Perhaps clarifying any gray areas in the household rules would help. Ask them what they would like to see out of you (specifics) so you will have their full trust again.

Well, first of all, congrats for having parents who give a crap.
Show them that you are interested in other activities and can be balanced with your time and interests. If you spend too much time in 'virtual world' they probably can't relate. That is just not something they get. So they distrust it. Get involved in something they understand like music, sports, friends, drama, art...whatever. Once they see you are responsible in something they understand they may trust you more with something they don't.

I think you should try to compromise with them and explain that you didnt mean any harm. I had to kiss my parents butts (not literally) in order to win their trust back. I had to tell them what,where, why ,when %26amp; who with for weeks then they laid off and I was able to do what I did before. Parents worry way too much over little things that we think are not that big of a deal. They just dont want to lose you and myspace.com to them is the worst thing ever because they immediately think of creepy people trying to harm you. I would just apologize to them, state your case and see if their is anyway for them to ease up on you.

The only way to earn your parent's trust is to do the same. YOU have to trust THEM. They did a very smart thing for you and are trying to help you. You can't understand it, you may not see it now, but one day you will really appreciate that they helped you as much as they did. A lot of people's parents are just letting their kids ruin their lives. Who loves their kids more? The ones who let them live, or ones who let them die?

To gain back their trust you have to catch them doing something they shouldn't be. Like catch your dad talking to someone your mom hates and the same for your mom. Then use this oppurtunity to get yourself what you want.
